My inspiration was the tureen, and I chose the Williams-Sonoma blue linen hem stitched tablecloth to set it off.
The tureen is marked only with a painted B followed by a series of 4 numbers. I bought it on eBay, and I have no idea who made it. I don't really care. I love it, and it works with so many different patterns.
It had been a while since I had used the Mottahedeh Sacred Bird and Butterfly dinner plate, maybe my all time best "get" at a wonderful estate sale. It's subtle, but the background of the plate is actually a pale blue.
The finishing touch for the place setting was the Williams-Sonoma flax linen hem-stitched napkin, my favorite napkin. Sometimes, like this day, I choose to use it whether it has anything to do with my design or not, just because I like it so much.
Before I go...
Splendorosa, give away of this amazing purse. After my surgery, I was limited to carrying no more than 7 pounds at any one time. My beautiful new bag has been perfect. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I have received on my gorgeous prize. Thank you so much, Marsha!
